ACTIVITIES AT THE LITTLE CHICAGO DOWNTOWN MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL
We have an exciting and fun-filled festival shaping up for August! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us via our contact page.
Our main music stage is sponsored by Cherokee Distributing Company (Yee Haw and Miller Lite) and will be located at intersection of Main St and Buffalo St. Our lineup will include a diverse set of artist, so there’s something for everyone!
Our second music stage is sponsored by Holston Distributing Company (Bud Light) and will be located at the opposite end of Main St and Colonial Way. Regional artists will be showcased on this stage to expand the musical talents throughout the festival.
ARTS & CRAFTS VENDORS
Shopping for handmade arts & crafts is one of the favorite parts of our festival. We are bringing in many local vendors and artisans, so you can browse and shop with ease. Main St. and Spring St. are solely dedicated for your craving for creativity. Don’t forget to stop in our local businesses there as well.
MARKET STREET FOOD COURT
Our region is home to many amazing local restaurants. Local food vendors will also be dishing up fantastic food. Take advantage of our misting alley between Main St and Market St. on your way…Come hungry and ready to eat!
The Family Fun Zone is hands-down one of the most popular places to be at our festival! Family friendly fun will be had for all ages at our fantastic kid’s area with games & activities, toddler inflatable, storybook mazes, misting tents, resting areas and much more!
And who doesn’t love a car show? A brand new addition to downtown is our festival’s Little Chicago Car Show brought to you by Roll Hard, Inc. On Saturday, Buffalo St. will be lined with a variety of muscle cars, import cars and big bikes for your viewing pleasure.
The girls are back! Little City Roller Girls will host the Skater’s Paradise in an all-day, outdoor roller derby tournament. Scrimmages will begin at 11am and will continue throughout the day in 30 minute intervals every hour until 6pm.
We are bringing art into the streets—literally! Local artists will create small artworks that transform unattractive cracks, crannies, posts and pipes into something magical. Children can participate in a scavenger hunt for prizes.
Our Urban Art Invitational will feature local artists demonstrating their talent and skills on a 6 foot by 8 foot panel right in front of your eyes. The Invitational will begin on Friday, August 12th at 4pm in the Downtown Square parking lot for all to enjoy.
